In 2013 me, Mariana Pimentel and Catarina Resende, we start a research group based on the Real Time Composition / Operation Mode AND by João Fiadeiro and Fernanda Eugenio articulated with our own artistic work. in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (BR).
My personal work thinks Dance Composition, based on relational aesthetics, where the configuration of the mechanism takes place collaboratively, triggering modes of sociability between people and the world. Subvert hierarchies, promoting horizontal meetings between art, the man and his surroundings. Art as a space for new ways of inhabiting the world, a constant negotiation of social roles, establishing a political system based on affection and ethics. Both real time composition and operation mode_And are important in my work because they invites us to pay attention to the relations, extending them, in a community management that no ranks subject, object and event. It is a method whose ethics is based on the concept of de-splitting: the undoing of the split between human and nonhuman, subject and object, I and the environment, people and events, theory and practice, thought and action, agency and passivity, ethics and aesthetics and so many other complementary opposites-that support our worldview, to think about ways of living together retarding the mechanism of "knowing" delivering us to the "taste" of the emerging relations.
In this group of Rio de Janeiro we try to open a space of experimentation, reflection in its various fields of action, directing attention to the collective work and the constant construction of a common plan. This initiative arose from our desire to follow in contact with the operating mode and invest in constant updating of its developments and share it with other stakeholders.
From the work of the com-position of the collective that the operating mode AND stimulates, we work so that we can create the conditions necessary for performative practice you learn to continually re-exist in the paradigm of artistic practice and its possible consequences in other areas ethical and political activity.
With a biweekly regularity, the meetings have taken place at the Cultural Laurinda Santos Lobo center in Santa Teresa and Centro Pulsar Equilibração Corporal, in Botafogo.
